Important note:

Due to the COVID- 19 situation, Lithuanian Government and Vilnius city municipality decided to take the precautionary measures to prevent of spreading COVID-19 virus in the city.

The city museums, cinema centers, sport gyms, tourism information center  will be closed until the 27th of March. After this date, if the situation remains intense, this period of closure can be prolonged. All the indoor public events of more than 100 people will be canceled as well. If you were planning to join a specific event, double check if it will be held as planned.

The supermarkets, restaurants and bars will stay open.

Vilnius Free Walking tours decided to continue running the free tours, however, if the situation will get more intense, the free tours can be canceled on a short notice.

For our dear travelers, here is the list of recommendations that everyone should follow during the tour:

  1. Don’t shake the hands/ avoid touching of each other
  2. Keep the distance from other travelers
  3. avoid touching your face and eyes
  4. practice proper coughing and sneezing etiquette (coughing and sneezing into a tissue or bent elbow),
